WALKING TOUR: SUSTAINABLE FINNISH FASHION&DESIGN

Fashion and sustainability? It doesn't go together! Or does it? In Helsinki, there is a growing number of young designers working with commitment and smart solutions to produce and design in a sustainable way: clothing, accessories, swimwear, hats, T-shirts, cosmetics, shoes, etc. We will visit some of the small boutiques and outlets in the city center on this walking tour and let ourselves be inspired by the creativity and style of Finnish artisans, designers, and entrepreneurs. Along the way, we will also see Art Nouveau architecture, the Senate Square and the Esplanades. The tour ends in the Design District. You are welcome to shop but it is not expected that you buy anything.

You will receive a list of the shops with addresses and opening hours so that you can stop by again later if you like a shop and want to browse more. We visit between 8-10 shops. Walking distance of about 3 km.

On request, an upcycling workshop can be organized after the tour for groups of at least 6 participants where each can make their own souvenir from Helsinki. Send us an email and we organize your perfect sustainable design experience in Helsinki!
